An Issue for the Senate to Investigate

November 15, 2005

YARGB - Yet Another Really Great Blog - has a post on Bill Bennet’s recent comments about Senator Jay Rockerfeller. It appears from the Senator’s own words, that he lent aid and comfort to the enemy. It appears that he revealed that the US was looking at Iraq more than a year before the US announced it would carry out the UN resolutions that no one else wanted to support. That was of course because those other governments were making tons of money off of the oil-for-food program.

Jimmy Carter Meet Jacque Chiraq

Jimmy Carter, the former President of malaise-ia, has gone and opened his mouth again. Big mistake! Every time he puts down a hammer and takes up pen or microphone, he reminds people why he was such a bad president and why he should keep building homes for Habitat for Humanity.

Of course, the export business for malaise has picked up - now French President Jacques Chiraq has his own. Or is malaise a disease like avian flu - only this one is specific for liberal presidents?

Dang! I wish she’d quit writing such good stuff!

Blogger Dr. Sanity is at it again. She writes such compelling pieces that I have to check back daily to see what new thoughts and logic she’s come up with. It’s hard to keep up with such quality work!

Her most recent post is entitled “Accutely Suicidal.” It points to the namby pamby, nice guy way some of us want to prosecute the war against Islamic radicals. We need to forget the criminal law approach of sufficient evidence, looking for testimony, and ensuring the rights of the terrorists we capture on the battle field (i.e., everywhere, including our own backyards). This is war! Quit this crap of thinking we want to avoid trampling on someone’s rights - tht someone wants to trample on our heads and hearts in front of our loved ones. Kill or capture, interrogate as hard as necessary to get the kind of information that will save American or allied lives, and quit with the pussy footing around!
