Making Iraq into Vietna - Part II

November 17, 2005

Another blogger - Shrinkwrapped - talks about the influence of Vietnam on the Main Stream Media. The comments are very interesting and provide quite a bit of historical perspective on the power the media assumed in the Vietnam era, and how that has changed their relations to government over the many decades since. Right now, the Demoncrats and some of their weak-willed Republican fellow-travelers (or should that be useful fools?) are using that MSM to attempt to change the course of the war for their own tactical (that is - points in today’s paper) advantage.

Not a single one of them has ever said what they would do next to keep Americans safer, nor have they said what they expect will happen in Iraq to those who’ve demonstrated that they want democracy as much as anyone in the world.

Anyone can tear things down, few can lead on a positive, constructive theme.

At Least He’s Consistent

Ex-President Clinton was outside the U.S. and just couldn’t keep his idiot mouth shut once again. At least he’s consistent - whenever he’s away from our shores, he appears to forget who he represents, where he lives, what government he should be supporting. I wonder if he ever thinks before he opens his mouth.

A room full of arab students give him a standing ovation - just what his woefully deflated ego craves. What a traitor.
